A Child Consultation is for the treatment of chronic conditions in children up to the age of 15 (if older refer to Adult Consultation).
A chronic condition is one which does not self-resolve and is of long duration. Also if an acute condition, such as tonsillitis, resolves when treated but keeps recurring, then it is considered a chronic disease.
A chronic disease is a whole-person issue, thus requires the child’s whole case to be taken. When taking a whole case questions will be asked concerning the child in the following areas: chief complaint, life history, medical history, constitutional make-up and family medical history.
This information is then put together by the homeopath and a remedy given which most closely matches the whole person, including the chief complaint.
A Child Chronic Consultation Questionnaire will be sent to your email address. After completing this questionnaire you will be required to do the following:
- Email or fax the completed questionnaire back to Living Water Homeopathic Medicine Centre, then
- Ring the clinic to arrange a phone/skype consult
Chronic cases can takes weeks to treat if straightforward or several months if complicated. The initial consultation will need to be followed by 2 consultations a fortnight apart, then consultations will occur monthly.
The cost of initial consultations is $185.00 (AUD) which includes the remedy, but not postage. Follow-up consults are $60 + $12 if a new remedy is needed.
